Kaboodle Launches PopPicks, Community-Driven Onlin

Kaboodle (http://www.kaboodle.com/), the largest social website for passionate shoppers, today launched PopPicks, an exclusive, members-only online sale destination that allows shoppers everywhere to determine which products are offered at a special price for a limited time.

Shree Ganesh Jewellery House has reported a net profit of Rs 63.72 crore for the quarter ended June 30,tiffany necklaces, 2010 against Rs 28.48 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, zoomed 123.73%. The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 258.85 on 09-Apr-2010 and a 52 week low of Rs. 107.10 on 17-May-2010.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 155.35 and Rs. 138.60, respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 963.86 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.66% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.49% and 17.85%, respectively.

Pullman shop offers contemporary fashion for every

Surrounded by cardboard boxes and clothing racks,Tiffany Watches, Mia Peterson stood eyeing her Blackberry with a worried expression.

"Oh no, don’t do this today," she said to it, adding it’s been on the fritz.

Peterson’s reaction was well warranted — her phone is needed to stay connected while setting up her business from floor to ceiling in just a few days.

Walls have been demolished and a new floor has been installed. Peterson plans to spend today hanging and steaming clothes, the finishing touches on the clothing boutique, Flirt, also based in Ellensburg, Wash. The business is set to open Monday.

Other businesses have come and gone at the store’s Grand Avenue location, but Peterson said her more than 20 years of retail experience will help her prove the venture is the right mix for the community.

Throughout her time spent in small towns in Washington, Peterson realized college towns were being neglected by clothing retailers. With Flirt, she aims to fix that.

The boutique offers clothing, accessories, jewelry, purses and shoes. It carries brands like MEK, Miss Me, Rock Revival,Tiffany bangles, Fergie, Chinese Laundry and BB Dakota. Peterson said Ellensburg and Pullman have similar climates, so clothing in the store will evolve as the weather changes. Shoe selections range from ballet flats to boots.

It will cater to a broad age range, Peterson said, from 18 to 60 years.

The boutique won’t function like a department store, and Peterson said the shop will offer only about five of each item to ensure stock is quickly swapped out for new styles. There’s nothing worse than buying an outfit for an event only to discover another person is wearing the same thing, she said.

"When you go outside you won’t see everyone in the same dress," she said.

Peterson said the limited numbers will not affect the store’s selection. While standing in a room filled with boxes of merchandise Thursday, Peterson said she expected another shipment of items the next day.

The shop still will be affordable, with jeans priced under $120.

"We like to see people in quality fashions that are well priced," she said.

The store is setup to offer the complete clothing package all in one place so customers can easily find items that are designed to go together.

"It’s about setting up a comfortable concept," she said.

Customers also can call in ahead of time, describe what they need and have those items waiting for them in a dressing room when they arrive on the store.

"We’ll work with you till we get you completed," she said.

Elyse Sparks, who has been working at Flirt in Ellensburg for more than a year and will manage the Pullman store, said all the employees strive to create look the best for each customer.

"It’s all about putting the right outfit on the right person," she said. "It’s like playing dress up with life-sized Barbies."

As manager, Sparks will oversee five employees. Peterson’s daughter Maren, 15, also has the responsibility of designing all the displays.

"The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,Tiffany Money Clips," Peterson said.

Peterson is an interior designer by trade. Her design business, Relaxed Living, is also based on Ellensburg. She also started a western home decor store called Rawhide out of Kirkland and Redmond,Tiffany necklaces, Wash.

She said having a designer background has helped her learn how to interact with people, an essential skill in operating a retail store.

Peterson said she expects to be a part of as many community events as possible and market the business heavily.

"The goal is to see our ads everywhere," she said.

September 10, 11 and 12 the boutique will host Bobby Brown cosmetics and offer free makeovers.

Traffic scuffle stems from earlier domestic fight

A driver who hit a bicyclist Thursday afternoon and sent him tumbling into the grass turned out to be the rider’s girlfriend, who had been heckling him down 10th Street for several minutes before steering her car onto the sidewalk in his path, according to witnesses.

The traffic accident turned domestic disturbance occurred at the John Hinkle Place intersection around 5 p.m., Bloomington police Lt. David Drake said. No one was injured.

Both the man and woman are considered victims on the police report, yet both were arrested.

April D. Lepine,tiffany money clips, 46, faces charges of domestic battery, criminal recklessness and leaving the scene of an accident.

Police say Lepine used her 1994 white Pontiac Grand Am to knock her boyfriend off his bicycle.

Her boyfriend, Robert Hoyer,tiffany necklaces, 47, also faces a domestic battery charge because Lepine told police he grabbed her neck and left red marks during an argument earlier in the day.

Hoyer told police his girlfriend punched him in the face during that argument while her 13-year-old son watched. He had no visible injuries from the punching or the crash,tiffany earrings, according to a report.

The couple is listed at the address 3026 E. Amy Lane. Both remained at Monroe County Jail Friday evening, each on $2,000 surety bond, $500 cash.

Memorial, thanksgiving service planned for Haiti q

Pastor Samuel Louis-Jean of Calvary Haitian Baptist Church in Middleburg is getting the word out about the spiritual and material needs in Haiti since the Jan. 12 earthquake.

So he’s partnering with other area congregations to hold a combination memorial, thank-you and plea-for-help service. The event begins at 7 p.m. Feb. 20 at Ridgewood Baptist Church,tiffany cuff Links, 939 Blanding Blvd. in Orange Park.

"The main goal is not only a memorial of all the Haitians devastated by the earthquake,tiffany earrings," Louis -Jean said,tiffany, but also to appeal to God to help "rebuild Haiti with Christ."

Organizers see the service as a way "to thank America for everything they have done" for Haiti since the quake. They also want to issue an appeal for anyone interested in participating in rebuilding mission trips to the island.

"We need electricians, engineers,tiffany necklaces, physicians to help us rebuild," Louis-Jean said.

Event explores Buddha’s teachings on love

Maitreya Kadampa Buddhist Center in Atlantic Beach will host "True Love at Last!," a Valentine’s Day event, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The center is at 85 Sailfish Drive.

AME district plans annual heritage weekend

The Jacksonville-based 11th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church will host its 23rd annual Black Heritage Weekend Feb. 19-21 on the campuses of Edward Waters College and James Weldon Johnson College Preparatory Middle School.
